Hero Arts Guest Design.....

If I was asked to be the Hero Arts Guest Designer for the month of October I was over the moon because I love their stamps so much. It´s so exiting, isn´t it?!
In the next weeks I would like to show you two christmassy projects using my favorite Hero Arts stamps, inks and embossing folder. Todays project is a little mini album filled with lots of white/mint/peach and gold accents. It´s not the traditional color scheme but I LOVE this modern fresh look.
You will find more details about the pages I create in the step by step instructions. If you have further questions about it please leave a comment and I will help you out....

  1. Trim white cardstock in different sizes.
  2. Add Hero Arts Letterpress Paper into the embossing folder to make your own snowflake, dot and wording letterpress cards for the minialbum.
  3. Add some ink with a little sponge onto the curved area of the letterpress cards.
  4. Cut little tags out from the cardstock, stamp snowflakes with Versamark Ink, heat emboss with gold powder.
  5. Stamp the chevron image onto a strip of Snow paper with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with white powder. Rub Mint Ink with a little sponge over the cardstock.
  6. Add different inks and embellishments like snowflakes, paperstrips, washitapes and twine onto your cards.
  7. Make your own stitching template using a letterpress snowflake. To get a uneven look use "ombre embroidery twine".
  8. Emboss a kraft paper doilie with white embossing powder, add a golden snowflake image with a pink brad to create the coverpage.
  9. Put it all together with a mint twine to get a unique mini book.
